ANKARA, April 27 (Reuters) – Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan provided his assist for U.S. President Donald Trump in a cellphone name following a capturing on the White Home Correspondents’ Affiliation dinner, the Turkish presidency stated late on Sunday.
“Erdogan stated he noticed the incident as a heinous act in opposition to democracy and press freedom,” the presidency stated in an announcement on X.
Earlier, Erdogan had condemned the incident in a separate assertion on X, saying he was completely satisfied that Trump and first woman Melania Trump have been unhurt.
