MUNCIE, IN—On Friday, June 14th, I sat down with Steve Lindell and interviewed him about his experiences in Arua, Uganda.
Within the audio interview beneath, Steve talks about why he went, and the logistics of touring over 7,000 miles to Radio Pacis in Arua, Uganda— his remaining vacation spot. In my 25 minute interview Steve talks in regards to the challenges the folks of Arua face daily:
Like poverty and authorities corruption.
Working in a multi-lingual atmosphere, to create impactful radio applications for the general public.
Touring on rudimentary paths for hours that masquerade as roads.
Ethnic cleaning.
All whereas standing out as the primary white man many Aruan’s had ever seen.
