Eramet indicators MoU with Gabon on manganese ore processing


Eramet and its Gabonese subsidiary Eramet Comilog signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday with the Gabonese authorities, concentrating on a street map to allow the processing of as much as 700 kilotons per 12 months of manganese ore by end-2031 in Gabon, the corporate stated in a press release.

The nickel, manganese ​and lithium producer stated the settlement is aimed toward growing the share of manganese ore processed by Eramet Comilog within the Central African nation.

Eramet and its Comilog subsidiary may even decide to creating an area biochar manufacturing sector, it added.

As a part of the MoU, Eramet and Eramet Comilog may even launch “Made in Gabon,” a seed fund that goals to create 3,000 jobs within the industrial sector.
