The EAC Ministers accountable for International Affairs and East African Neighborhood along with EAC Secretary Common are attending a three-day retreat in Zanzibar. The primary goal of the EAC Ministerial Retreat is to debate vital points affecting the EAC area, together with Peace and Safety, Associate States Relations and the Integration course of. The retreat additionally gives a possibility for Ministers to interact in thorough discussions, share insights and collectively strategise on methods to foster sustainable peace, improve safety cooperation, strengthen relationships amongst Associate States and transfer the mixing agenda ahead. The retreat follows a directive by the assembly of EAC Ministers held on sixteenth February. 2024 in Addis Ababa.
