Johannesburg – Police and troopers have swooped on the Losberg Kloof Mine in Westonaria, the place greater than 150 suspected unlawful miners have been arrested.
Gauteng Police, along with the South African Nationwide Defence Drive (SANDF) and Sibanye Safety Companies, performed Operation Prosper at Losberg Kloof Mine in Westonaria earlier immediately, Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
The operation is aimed toward combating unlawful mining actions and transnational crime within the space.
