Polokwane – The Police in Namakgale have launched an intensive manhunt following the escape of a 34-year-old male crime suspect, Tumelo Raledi, from lawful custody on Sunday, 26 April 2026.

Limpopo police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba stated Raledi escaped at about 21:30 whereas admitted for medical remedy at Maphuta Malatji hospital within the Mopani District.
