CAIRO, March 28 (Reuters) – Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis confirmed on Saturday that they’d launched an assault on Israel for the primary time throughout the present Israeli-U.S. warfare in opposition to Iran, marking their entry to the battle and elevating the prospects of a broader regional confrontation.
Israel earlier mentioned it was working to intercept a missile from Yemen.
The group mentioned the assault with a barrage of missiles got here after continued focusing on of infrastructure in Iran, Lebanon, Iraq and the Palestinian territories, including that their operations would proceed till the “aggression” on all fronts ends.
