March 10 (Reuters) – The Afghan Taliban on Tuesday referred to as the united statesdecision to designate Afghanistan a “state sponsor of wrongful detention” regrettable, and mentioned it needed to resolve the matter by way of dialogue after the U.S. demanded the discharge of U.S. residents held.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio mentioned on Monday he was designating the Taliban authorities a “state sponsor of wrongful detention,” and urged Kabul to free all detained U.S. residents, together with Mahmood Habibi and Dennis Coyle.
