DUBAI, March 4 (Reuters) – Iranians will bid farewell to late Supreme Chief Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at a ceremony in Tehran late on Wednesday, a senior Iranian official advised state media.

Hojjatoleslam Mahmoudi, head of Iran’s Islamic Propagation Council, stated the farewell ceremony would proceed for 3 days and the funeral procession shall be introduced later.

The official stated the general public will be capable to pay their respects to the physique of late Supreme Chief Ali Khamenei at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Prayer Corridor beginning at 10 p.m. (1830 GMT).

“The Mosalla (prayer corridor) shall be receiving guests and the expensive individuals can attend and participate within the farewell ceremony and mark a robust presence as soon as once more,” he stated in feedback carried by Iranian media.
