Israeli minister Ben-Gvir banned from entry to French territory


PARIS, Could 23 (Reuters) – France has determined to ban Israel’s police minister Itamar Ben-Gvir from entry to French territory, mentioned Overseas Minister Jean-Noel Barrot on Saturday, including that the choice mirrored anger over the remedy of Gaza flotilla activists.

“As from at present, Itamar Ben-Gvir is banned from getting into French territory,” wrote Barrot on X.

“Together with my Italian counterpart, I’m asking the European Union to additionally take sanctions towards Itamar Ben-Gvir,” he added.
