Transunion Africa, a world info and insights firm, introduced the appointment of Annemie Botha as normal counsel, efficient 1 February.
In her position, Botha will lead TransUnion Africa’s authorized, threat and compliance operate throughout South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Namibia, Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia and Malawi. Her remit spans aligning authorized and regulatory technique.
Botha brings over 17 years of expertise in authorized advisory, compliance, privateness and company governance, with experience throughout credit score bureau regulation and monetary providers.
She most lately served as director of compliance at TransUnion Africa, the place she led compliance technique throughout eight African jurisdictions.
Previous to this, Botha held the position of privateness counsel.
