An earthquake of 6.7 magnitude rocked the southern area of Africa on Wednesday morning.

The UAE’s Nationwide Centre Meteorology mentioned stations of their seismic community recorded the temblor at 8.55am, UAE time.

The US Geological Survey additionally detected the quake, which was categorised as ‘very robust’.

It had a ‘very shallow’ depth of 10 km and, to date, there are not any stories of damages.
